#Sea_Gifts

Yesterday, I found a large, flattened seashell on the shore. I’m planning to drill a hole in it and wear it on a leather cord — like a talisman. Can you imagine what it’s been through? Just like me, really.

And today, in the water — a piece of fishing line with a sinker, and two small fish caught on it: a sea bream and a mullet. My dad suggested we make fish soup out of them. And honestly, why not?

I absolutely love finding meaning, support, and messages from higher forces in everyday things. You wouldn’t believe how accurately these little sea gifts reflect the state I’m in right now.

Every day I go to the sea, feed my crow — her name is Captain Flint — and play the ocarina. “Play” might be a generous word, but I do manage to produce some sounds. And in those moments, I imagine I’m playing just for the sea.

That’s how I became the local weirdo. And now I truly believe: the sea is trying to thank me — for playing, for picking up trash, and for being grateful every single day.

Have you ever received signs?

With love, Li
